30-Story Skyfarm in New York

This rendering shows a proposal to build a 30-story Skyfarm for Urban Agriculture in New York. The designs are still evolving; so for now, the farm is planned to provide power for itself and some for the city through solar energy.

The city’s sewer would

be filtered and used for

watering the crops.

On the right is Gordon Graff’s

58-story skyfarm proposal

for downtown Toronto. Projected

to feed 35,000 people per year.
